Fighter of the Month: Doug Lindstone

July 03, 2026

Every month we shine a light on a #FIGHTFAM member who shows up, follows through, and trusts the process. This month that member is Doug Lindstone.

Fighter of the Month is not about who lifts the most or hits the hardest. It goes to the member who makes no excuses, refuses to let old habits win, and stays consistent and honest with the work. Doug earned it.

Where Doug started

Doug, a VP of Finance, has been part of the #FIGHTFAM for one to three years. He is honest about where he began. Sedentary, inactive, a self-described couch potato, never consistent, and short on endurance. That is the starting line for a lot of people who walk through our doors, and it is nothing to be ashamed of. It is the reason to start.

What changed

Consistency did what quick fixes never could. Training with us, Doug built real results he can feel every day:

  • More energy
  • Increased strength
  • Better endurance

You can read the full story in how Doug rebuilt his fitness at 49.

His favorite way to train

For Doug, the draw is kickboxing. Not just the workout, but the fact that he is always learning something new. That is the difference between grinding through a routine and actually looking forward to class.

Doug's advice for anyone starting

His advice is simple and it is exactly right:

"Consistency is the priority, not intensity."

You do not need to crush every session. You need to keep showing up. The people who get results are not the ones who go hardest for two weeks. They are the ones who keep coming back.

The mantra that keeps him going

"The only bad workout is the one you didn't do."

Print it on the fridge. Doug lives it.
